The second running of the MRR was a success! Thank you to all who participated and assisted in todays rainy but AWESOME event! We had 1200 runners, which is astounding for a small town 5K in only it’s second year of existence. The ladies I stand with are fun, smart and savvy business women who put heart and soul into this event. Shawna needs to be singled out as our fearless leader who lives and breaths this run for 6 months. She will never fully admit how much work goes into this run…it’s not to be believed! As the newby on this team I can tell you I am so impressed by them. They are not afraid to work hard and to pursue an idea, no matter how grueling or intimidating…they simply and gracefully make things happen in a BIG WAY! They are the definition of Moms who rock! I hope these ladies and all the moms out there have an awesome Mother’s Day! Thanks for all the love, support and help! SOG
